Read This When You Feel Like Giving Up (A Note From Vikki)
💛 Read This When You Feel Like Giving Up (A Note From Vikki)
If you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, done with everyone and everything… this is for you.
First of all: you’re not broken.
You’re not weak. You’re not failing. You’re not “behind in life”.
You are tired. You are overstretched. You are carrying too much. You’ve been surviving on fumes and sheer willpower — and nobody sees the half of it.
From Me to You (Yes, You)
You might not know me in real life, but if you’re reading this, we share something:
We’ve both had seasons where getting out of bed felt like a full-time job. Where the future felt blurry. Where “trying again” felt almost insulting.
So here’s what I want you to hear, from me — Vikki — like a friend who has been through it:
You are allowed to feel done. You are allowed to cry, scream, hate it all, lie on the floor, stare at the ceiling, and question everything.
You are not obligated to be positive all the time. Sometimes the bravest thing you do is just… not give up today.
When Everything Feels Pointless
If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you will keep getting the same results — and that’s probably part of why you feel stuck.
So instead of giving up completely, try this tiny rebellion:
- Give up on doing it the old way. Not on yourself.
- Give up on carrying it alone. Not on the possibility it gets better.
- Give up on being perfect. Not on showing up messy.
- Give up on timelines. Not on the idea that your time will come.
What You’ve Already Survived
Think about it for a second:
- Every heartbreak you thought you’d never get over — and yet here you are.
- Every night you cried yourself to sleep — and still woke up and carried on.
- Every time someone underestimated you — and you proved them wrong just by existing.
- Every version of you that thought “I can’t do this” — and somehow did.
You are walking proof that you can survive things you weren’t prepared for.
Things You Are Still Allowed to Hope For
Even now — especially now — you are still allowed to hope for:
- A calmer life
- Real love that doesn’t hurt
- Money that feels stable
- Friends who feel like home
- A body that feels cared for, not punished
- Mornings that don’t feel heavy
- A future that doesn’t scare you
Nothing disqualifies you from good things. Not your past. Not your mistakes. Not the fact you’re tired. Not the number of times you’ve “failed”.
When You Feel Like You Can’t Do Another Day
Here’s your bare minimum survival checklist:
- Drink a glass of water
- Eat something small
- Open a window or step outside for 2 minutes
- Lie down and breathe slowly for 60 seconds
- Tell one person (even online) “I’m struggling”
If that’s all you can do today, it’s enough. You are enough.
A Promise From Me (Vikki)
I promise you this:
- There will be a day where you laugh again and it won’t feel forced.
- There will be a day where you wake up and don’t dread the entire day ahead.
- There will be a day where you look back at this version of you and think, “I’m so glad she didn’t give up.”
You don’t have to believe that right now. I can believe it for you.
If You Needed a Sign Not to Quit
You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to reset. You are allowed to rage and cry and hate how hard it’s been.
But please don’t give up on you.
You have survived 100% of your worst days so far. And somewhere in the future, there is a softer, calmer, happier version of you who is so grateful you stayed.
Until then, when it all feels too much, come back and read this again.
With love, honesty & zero bullshit,
Vikki 💛
