I Wish I Was A Magician… But Peace Isn’t Magic
Sometimes I wish I was a magician — like I could click my fingers and instantly have a peaceful life with no stress, no noise, no old triggers, no emotional flashbacks.
But the truth is:
peace isn’t a spell.
Peace is a practice.
No one is coming to save us.
No one is coming to fix it for us.
No one is coming to magically remove all the weight we’ve carried.
We create peace by:
- saying no
- setting boundaries
- walking away from toxic people
- choosing simple days
- choosing ourselves
This is the part no one tells you:
you have to work for peace.
Not hustle.
Not force.
But choose.
And today, at 7am, before the day even begins fully — I am choosing peace.
Not the fantasy kind.
Not the magic wand kind.
The kind you build quietly — by living your own life on your own terms.
