£1,000,000,worth of advice in one blog post - **Delete. Block. Never Go Back.
And Never Feel Guilt Again.**
I'm not a coward, I've done this... (AKA Vikki)
Why Choosing Peace Is Sometimes the Most Practical Choice You’ll Ever Make.
There comes a moment in life when you realise something simple:
Not everyone you care about is good for your mind, your health, or your future.
Sometimes the people who drain you the most are the people you’ve known the longest.
Sometimes the person who causes the most pain is the person you kept giving “one more chance.”
And sometimes the only way forward is the one that feels the hardest at first.
But here’s the truth many people never say out loud:
Walking away is not cruelty.
It’s clarity.
1. Delete the access
Removing someone from your phone, your social media, or your daily life isn’t about revenge.
It’s about removing their influence, their noise, their intrusion, and their ability to pull you back into old patterns.
When the doorway is gone, the chaos is gone too.
2. Block the behaviour
Blocking someone isn’t childish.
It’s a boundary.
You’re not blocking a person.
You’re blocking:
-
manipulation
-
guilt
-
disrespect
-
drama
-
emotional exhaustion
-
circular conversations
-
false apologies
-
the old version of you that tolerated too much
A “block” simply means:
I no longer allow this into my world.
3. Never go back
The cycle only ends when you stop stepping into it.
People repeat patterns because they go back “just to be polite,” or “just to keep the peace.”
But true peace begins when you stop returning to the place that stole it.
Distance brings perspective.
Perspective brings strength.
Strength brings calm.
**4. And the most important part:
Never feel guilty for choosing yourself**
Guilt is a normal reaction when you’ve been trained to put others first, even at your own expense.
But guilt fades.
Peace grows.
Energy returns.
Your mind clears.
Your life stabilises.
And happiness becomes a quiet, daily thing — not a rare moment.
Choosing yourself is not selfish.
It’s necessary.
What’s on the other side?
A life where your nervous system doesn’t live in a constant alert mode.
A life where you don’t fear your phone lighting up.
A life where you don’t walk on eggshells or replay conversations.
A life where your days feel lighter and your future feels possible again.
A life that finally feels like yours.
**The formula is simple.
The courage is hard.
The results are worth everything.**
Delete.
Block.
Never go back.
Never feel guilty.
And watch your life become peaceful in a way you didn’t realise was possible.
