Does Anyone Else Go to Work for a Rest?

I’m sat here after my fourth cup of tea ☕ just wondering — does anyone else feel like they go to work for a rest? Because honestly, some days off are harder than the job itself.

Today’s been one of those full-on, never-ending housework days. Laundry 🧺. Hoovering 🌀. Washing up 🍽️. Then I decided to drill holes in walls, fit brackets, and put up shelves. What was I thinking?

By the time I finished, I realised something: work is easier. At least there, you get breaks, adult conversation, and you don’t have to clean up after yourself every five minutes.

So yeah — sometimes I genuinely look forward to work just so I can sit down and rest my back. Anyone else feel the same?

Anyway, that’s my rant for today. Tea number five is brewing. ☕ Cheers to everyone doing “days off” that feel like full-time jobs.
