Attachment Weaponisation: The Bond Was Never an Accident

Attachment Weaponisation: The Bond Was Never an Accident I never noticed the closeness being built. I just assumed it was love, and assumed what I owed because of it, without either of us ever saying it out loud. Short version: Trauma bonding is usually described as something that happens to you, almost by accident, through unpredictable reward. A 2025 Cambridge study, interviewing eighteen women with sustained attachment to abusive partners, found something sharper underneath that: the closeness itself is often deliberately constructed early on, specifically so it can be exploited later. Researchers call this attachment weaponisation. The unsettling part is that it isn't always obvious while it's happening. It can feel completely organic, right up until you realise how much invisible obligation got built into it along the way. What is attachment weaponisation? A 2025 study led by researchers at the University of Cambridge, published in the journal Violence Aga...

💥 Be Kind or Fuck Off: A Manifesto for Survivors

 By Vikki  October 27, 2025

I’ve spent years being polite to people who treated me like shit.

I’ve smiled through sabotage. I’ve apologized for having needs. I’ve twisted myself into silence just to keep the peace. And I’m done.

This is my manifesto—for anyone who’s been gaslit, manipulated, emotionally drained, or made to feel like kindness is weakness. It’s for the survivors who are finally ready to say: No more.

🚫 You Can’t Be Kind? Then Fuck Off.

I’m not here to coddle egos, tiptoe around tantrums, or explain basic decency.

If you can’t treat me with respect, you don’t get access to me.

If you bring chaos, cruelty, or control—

You’re not welcome.

I don’t negotiate with narcissists.

I don’t explain my boundaries.

I enforce them.

🔥 Why This Matters

Survivors of narcissistic abuse are taught to shrink. To fawn. To tolerate the intolerable. We’re told to “be nice” even when we’re being torn apart.

But here’s the truth:

Kindness without boundaries is self-destruction.

Politeness without protection is a trap.

This manifesto is a call to arms. A reminder that your anger is valid. Your boundaries are sacred. And your healing is non-negotiable.

✊ What This Blog Is About

I’m building a space for people like me—like you—who’ve had enough.

Here, we’ll talk about:

How to spot narcissistic abuse

How to build unshakable boundaries

How to reclaim your voice, your power, and your peace

How to turn rage into resilience

This isn’t a self-help blog. It’s a survival guide.

💬 Join the Movement

If this manifesto speaks to you, share it. Print it. Tattoo it. Scream it.
And come back here—because I’ll be posting tools, stories, and strategies to help you stay strong when the world tries to make you small.

You’re not alone. You’re not crazy. You’re not too much.

You’re a fucking force.

BIG LOVE XXX
