Technology Has Officially Made Me Lazy (Or Maybe I’m Just Bored?)
This really hurts!!!
Copy➡️Paste
So here I am, writing another blog post. Well… actually no, let’s be honest. I didn’t write this. I asked ChatGPT to do it because I was too lazy to. In fact, I’m so lazy right now I barely even want to copy and paste this text onto my site. That’s the level we’re at.
But seriously—how does someone get this lazy? Is it technology? Is it modern life? Or is it just me being… done?
Think about it. Once upon a time, people:
- Walked across the room to change the TV channel.
- Had to cook actual meals without Uber Eats.
- Carried maps. Yes, paper maps.
Now? I can literally lie on the sofa, shout “Alexa, play something I don’t hate,” and technology sorts it out. No effort, no energy, no brainpower required.
And don’t even get me started on writing. Used to be a whole thing—pen, paper, ideas. Now? I just open ChatGPT and say, “Write me a blog post, please, I’m tired.” Done. Technology motor, lazy mode: activated.
So the big question is: Has technology made us lazy, or are we just bored of everything? Maybe it’s both. Maybe technology is like that friend who says, “Don’t worry, I’ll do it for you,” and before you know it, you haven’t moved in six hours and you’re Googling whether chewing counts as exercise.
Anyway, this post is proof. I’m lazy. Technology is my enabler. And you just read 500 words that I barely lifted a finger for. Thank you, progress.
