If You’re Still Drinking to Cope with a Narcissist — You’re Letting Them Win
(A Brutal Pep Talk You Might Just Need)
You drank because you were in hell.
Fine.
No judgment. Been there.
But guess what?
That narcissist already stole your peace, your energy, your f**king sanity —
Don’t let them steal your health and future too.
You’ve escaped the toxic swamp, and if you’re still pouring poison down your throat “to cope,” that narcissist is still winning — rent-free, living in your bloodstream now.
Do you really want to be your own abuser at this point?
That drink isn’t your friend.
It’s not a warm hug.
It’s a bloody Trojan horse dressed as relief — and you know it.
It brings:
- Shame
- Sleep problems
- Mood crashes
- Brain fog
- And it makes their voice louder in your head, not quieter.
You’re not weak.
But if you keep pretending alcohol is helping when it’s destroying you?
That’s not survival — that’s sabotage.
So here’s the truth:
Put the bottle down.
Pick your damn self up.
Eat the salad.
Take the walk.
Scream into a pillow.
Cry.
Journal.
Dance.
Punch the air.
Sit in silence.
But don’t drink.
You’ve already done hard things.
You got through them.
Now do the hardest:
Feel it all. Sober. Raw. Real.
Then rise the hell up.
Stick this on your fridge. Share it with someone who needs it.
Hell — tattoo it on your heart.
Because you’re not just healing.
You’re taking your fking power back.**
