Seven Days Of People-Watching | Days 62–68 of 120 Days to Christmas

Days 62-68 of 120: Seven Days Of People-Watching — The Christmas Body Countdown 62-68 of 120 120 Days to Christmas Seven Days Of People-Watching Two dials, four kinds of people, and who to keep close. Seven days went by, and I'm not going to dress that up. So instead of seven rushed posts, here's one proper one, about something I find fascinating: watching how different people handle honesty and conflict. It's all from what I've noticed over the years, so please take it as my observations, not gospel. Two dials tell you a lot about a person: how honest they are, and how much conflict they bring. DAY 62: THE TWO DIALS Honesty and conflict Picture two dials. One is honesty: how truthful someone is, from low to high. The other is conflict: how much drama and friction they bring, from low to high. Turn them to different settings and you get four very different kinds of people. We all slide around a ...

120 Days to Christmas • The Journey Starts Now

Before You Do Anything, Get Honest

Day one isn't about action. It's about truth.
120 days. That's how long you've got until Christmas Day. Not to lose weight, not to punish yourself, not to hit some arbitrary number — but to build something. A body you're proud of, and a life full of people who actually deserve to be in it.
You can't earn your way to day 120 if you don't know what day one actually looks like.
So today, there's no plan, no rules, no clean-out of the cupboards. That comes later. Today is just three honest questions. Sit with them. Don't rush to fix anything. Just tell yourself the truth.
QUESTION ONE

Are you happy with what you're eating?

Not what you think you should be eating. Not what a diet plan says. What's actually going on, day to day, in real life.

QUESTION TWO

Are you happy with how your body looks and feels?

Not compared to anyone else. Not compared to who you used to be. Just — right now, as you are — are you happy?

QUESTION THREE

Are you happy with who you're letting into your life?

Loving your body isn't only about food and training. It's about who gets your time and energy. Are the people around you treating you well — or is some of what you're carrying actually coming from them?

That's it for today. No changes yet. Just the truth about where you're starting from. Because the two things are connected — you can't build something strong on ground that people keep kicking at.
120 days. Let's go.
Love, Vikki
