A quiet Sunday morning…
A nice cuppa tea.
No rush.
No noise.
Just peace.
And I’m already mentally designing my roast dinner later like it’s an art installation.
Rare roast beef.
Proper pink in the middle.
Crispy fat.
Seasoned like I actually respect myself.
Broccoli.
Sweet potato.
Carrots.
Peas.
Cabbage.
And YES — roast potatoes that drip on your shirt if you lean forward stupidly because that’s the law.
Yorkshire puddings, obviously.
And a real gravy made from stock, not those watery insult packets.
It’s the kind of meal that makes you feel nourished and grounded and alive again.
This is what Sundays are for.
A reset.
A ritual.
A moment of love back to yourself.
Love,
Vikki.
