Overwhelmed

Sometimes the world feels overwhelming because we think we have to do something big to matter.

That if we can’t fix everything, we’ve failed.

But there’s a quieter truth that has lasted far longer than most advice:

“Not all of us can do great things.

But we can do small things with great love.”

Mother Teresa

That line doesn’t ask you to stretch beyond yourself.

It doesn’t demand energy you don’t have.

It simply brings things back to human scale.

You don’t need to change the world today.

You only need to meet what’s in front of you with care.

That might be a person.

A task.

Or yourself.

Small things done with love are not a consolation prize.

They’re how life is actually held together.

And on days when everything feels like too much,

that is more than enough.
