Just Enough
You don’t need to take anything from this.
You don’t need to learn a lesson.
You don’t need to reflect.
You don’t need to change your behaviour tomorrow.
You can just read it and leave.
Most days ask something of you.
Your time.
Your energy.
Your attention.
Your patience.
This one doesn’t.
If today has been heavy, you don’t need to justify that.
If today has been quiet, you don’t need to fill it.
If today has been productive, you don’t need to build on it.
There is no follow-up required.
You’re not behind.
You’re not late.
You haven’t missed the point.
Sometimes the most stabilising thing is not insight,
but permission to stop reaching.
So if you’re reading this while pausing between tasks,
or sitting somewhere you didn’t plan to be,
or scrolling without a reason —
that’s fine.
You’re allowed to exist without momentum.
You’re allowed to be unfinished.
You’re allowed to be here without turning it into something useful.
Nothing is expected from you in return for this moment.
You can close the page now.
Or you can stay a little longer.
Either way,
you don’t owe this space anything.
And that’s intentional.
